Chiropractic Care
When pain, stiffness, headaches, or limited mobility begin affecting your daily life, it can be frustrating trying to figure out what to do next. At Adirondack Chiropractic, we take a personalized approach to chiropractic care that focuses on helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.
For nearly three decades, we have worked with people from all walks of life, helping them improve movement, reduce discomfort, and regain confidence in what their bodies can do.
No Pressure Atmosphere
No two patients are exactly alike, which is why we never take a one-size-fits-all approach. Over the years, we have developed a gentle style of care by combining several chiropractic techniques based on each patient’s needs, age, health history, and comfort level.
Our primary techniques include:
- Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) Low Force
- Activator Method® Low Force
- Drop Table Technique
- Pain Elimination Technique
- Upper Cervical Technique
Helping Patients Get Back to What Matters
One of the first questions we ask patients is what they hope to get back to doing. For some, that means golfing or playing pickleball. For others, it means spending time with family, enjoying weekends again, or simply getting through the workday more comfortably. Understanding those goals helps guide the care process and creates a plan that reflects what matters most to each individual.
Conditions Commonly Seen in Our Office
Dr. Kolwaite has particular confidence in helping patients experiencing headaches. Over the years, he has worked with countless individuals whose headaches were affecting work, family life, and overall enjoyment of daily activities. His gentle techniques allow many patients to explore chiropractic care comfortably, even when other approaches may have felt too aggressive. He also regularly works with patients dealing with:
- Arthritic and degenerative spinal conditions
- Herniated discs
- Sciatica
- Neck pain
- Low back pain
- Vertigo
- Whiplash injuries following auto accidents
- No Fault accident cases
- Workers Comp injuries
More Services for Comprehensive Care
Our visits are 15 minutes long to enable the Dr. to perform a lot of muscle massage work before the adjustment to enhance healing and pain relief. This is more time than most other offices.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, our office offers cervical and lumbar spinal disc decompression, a traction-based therapy designed to reduce pressure on spinal discs and other structures.
We also provide Stemwave therapy for chronic conditions and work closely with two massage therapists who practice within our office, making it easy for patients to access multiple forms of care in one convenient location.
We also provide orthotic casting using Foot Levelers products.
We accept most insurances as well as Workers Comp and No Fault.
